Alfalfa is known to be the queen of forage due to its productive capacity and adaptation to the environment.
In addition, it is possibly the forage plant with the highest in animal feed. It is considered one of the most complete forages, from a nutritional perspective, in the feeding of ruminants.
The most interesting fraction of forage is crude protein. High in fiber, especially in the stems, whose importance is increasing in the feeding of ruminants, and is relatively low in energy. Alfalfa is an excellent minerals and vitamins source.

Boron in alfalfa is involved in meristematic activity and cell division. Boron deficiency is quite usual, causing growth arrest, terminal leaves yellowing, small growth between nodes, damage to the apical meristems and death of the lateral shoots, with the consequent decrease in production.
It contains vehiculizing substances, obtained according to its own technology, from microalgae: The presence of certain free amino acids in Levorotatory form (with 100% assimilation by the plant), such as lysine, in adequate amounts to promote the natural chelating effect in addition to promote germination and chlorophyll synthesis; Methionine, which activates protein synthesis; Proline.
It is important the content in natural phytohormones, with a great variety of effects on the growth and development of the plant, stimulate the mobilization of nutrients, the synthesis of chlorophyll and promote the transformation of etioplasts into chloroplasts, thus inhibiting the yellowing of leaves.
