WHAT IS CHEMOTAXIS?

Chemotaxis is a phenomenon in which bacteria direct their movements according to certain substances they perceive in the environment as having an attractive or repellent action.
Some bacteria move by flagella that have protein sensors capable of locating chemoattractants in the medium such as the microalgal metabolite BIOX31®.
These sensors tell the flagellum how to move in order to associate with plant roots.
BIOBALANCE has been specially designed to encourage communication between the plant and the rhizobacteria present in the soil.
